William Richard Kearvell

1887-1956 born in Havant Hampshire. A soldier in the Army Service Corps and then a Postman

Eldest of the two sons of William George and Clara Smith

Gordon William Kearvell 1914-1964, son of William Richard Kearvell and Catherine James, pictured in 1961 with his wife Edith Redfern. Both Gordon and his sister Thelma were born in Cape Town, South Africa where their father was stationed with the British Army

William Richard's great grandson, Steven Andrew on the occasion of his marriage to Sharon Dixon in Longridge Lancashire in July 2002.

Steven and his bride are pictured with his parents, Alan and Maureen Kearvell and his two sisters, Susan (on left) and Selena (on right) .

Alan Kearvell is the Head of 6th Form Studies at Blackburn College, Lancs.
