The modern day members of the clan of Oisin are found predominantly, though not exclusively in Northern and Western Europe. The distribution in the following countries and among the following peoples is: the Basques (90%), Poland (75%), Punjab (60%), Greece (35%), Uzbekistan (30%), Maori (30%), Greenland Inuit (25%), Fali of Mali (25%), Saami (20%), Iraq (17%), Cheyenne (15%), Kazbegi of Georgia (10%), Mixtecs of Central America (10%), Iran (5%), Navajo (5%), Cook Islanders (5%).

Intriguingly the Oisin Clan make up 90% of the Basque peoples. In Augustues Hare's 1894 book about Sussex he notes "The people of Bosham, however, are remarkably handsome. It has a well-to-do fishing population of evident foreign extraction who stand aloof from their neighbours, seldom marry out of the place and keep their good looks to themselves"
